A Letter From Cheryl

Dear friends, family and loving customers,

After more than a decade of proudly offering OC Salsa Rica Salsas as a private label product in the Produce sections of your local Southern California Vons, Albertsons, and Pavilions stores, they have decided to partner with another vendor. The last batches of our private label salsa will only be available until sold out.

It is impossible to express in this letter the immense gratitude that I felt for the opportunity of creating private label salsas for Albertsons Companies. When my daughter, Bianca, and I were discovered at the local farmers market, we never imagined that we’d be selling our salsas in grocery stores shortly thereafter. I thank God everyday for the relationships we’ve built with Albertsons Companies and our beloved customers. Through this venture, I have truly been living out my dream of sharing my time honored family recipes with others.

Although this is the start of a new era, this isn’t the end of our salsa journey! You can still find the OC Salsa Rica salsas you’ve come to know and love at Gelson’s Markets 28 Southern California locations. We will continue to sell our NEW branded OC Salsa Rica salsas in the Deli Section of Southern California Vons and Albertsons. Please try them and let us know what you think.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our small, Latina, family-owned salsa business. I am so proud of what we have built together these past 10+ years. Your love and support has always been the fuel and will continue to be as we wrap up this iteration and move into our next venture.
